Ceramic Glazing Solution

SuperLite C/S is a ceramic impact safety-rated glazing that is fire rated to 20/45/60/90/120/180 minutes with hose stream. This safety filmed glazing provides the highest impact safety rating, Consumer Product Safety Commission 16CFR1201 Cat. II, which requires withstanding 400 ft. lbs. of impact. Used in door, sidelite, and borrowed lite applications or any area where impact safety is required or a concern.
Note: Ceramics are not barriers to radiant heat. They do not meet test standards ASTM E119 or UL 263. If your jurisdiction requires a barrier to radiant heat, please use SAFTI FIRST SuperLite II-XL™ products. Most applications over 45 minutes are required to protect against radiant heat transfer.

For ratings over 45 minutes,
the dangers of radiant heat should be considered. This is not
a heat barrier ASTM E119 rated product.
Due to radiant heat considerations, the maximum wall area allowed by code is 25%. |
